    From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, head east on E Adams St toward S 6th St. Turn left onto S 6th St and continue for about 1 mile. Merge onto I-55 N via the ramp to Chicago. After about 2 miles, take exit 92A to merge onto Clear Lake Ave. Continue on Clear Lake Ave for about 3 miles. The Margery Adams Wildlife Sanctuary will be on your right at 2315 E Clear Lake Ave, Springfield, IL 62703.

    From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, walk to the nearest bus stop located on E 6th St. Take the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) Bus Route 10 towards the East Side. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop closest to Clear Lake Ave and E Clear Lake Ave. From there, it will be a short walk (about 0.3 miles) to the Margery Adams Wildlife Sanctuary at 2315 E Clear Lake Ave, Springfield, IL 62703.
