From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, head north on 8th Street toward E. Adams Street. Turn left onto E. Adams Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will then take a slight right onto the I-55 N ramp toward Chicago. Stay on I-55 N for approximately 1 mile, then take exit 92A toward IL-97 N. Continue on IL-97 N for about 2 miles. Take the exit toward W. Oak Ridge Street. After exiting, turn left onto W. Oak Ridge Street, then take a right onto Monument Avenue. The Lincoln Tomb State Historic Site will be on your left at 1500 Monument Avenue. Note that parking is available on-site.

From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, walk to the nearest bus stop at 9th Street and E. Adams Street. Board the Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) route 10 bus towards 'Chatham'. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the stop on W. Oak Ridge Street. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Lincoln Tomb State Historic Site. Walk west on W. Oak Ridge Street until you reach Monument Avenue, then turn left, and the site will be on your left.

If you prefer to walk, start at Lincoln Home National Historic Site and head north on 8th Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles to E. Adams Street, then turn left. Walk along E. Adams Street for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with W. Oak Ridge Street. Turn right onto W. Oak Ridge Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. Finally, turn left onto Monument Avenue, and you'll find the Lincoln Tomb State Historic Site on your left.
