This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Ensure to take the left turn onto the road leading to Laitkor Peak. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the base of the hill. Be mindful of the local traffic and pedestrian pathways.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a shared taxi (locally known as 'Sumo') from Police Bazar to Laitkor. To find the taxi stand, walk towards the main road and look for the designated area for shared taxis. The fare is approximately INR 30 to 50 per person, depending on your negotiation skills. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Inform the driver to drop you off at 'Shillong View Point' at Laitkor Peak.
