If you are near the downtown area of Burlington, start at City Hall Park. Head north on Church Street until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Take a right onto North Avenue and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will pass through residential areas and shops. Once you reach the intersection with Rock Point Road, turn left. The Rock Point Trail Loop entrance will be on your left after a short walk down Rock Point Road.

From the downtown area, locate the Green Mountain Transit (GMT) bus stop. Take the #6 North Avenue bus, heading towards North Avenue. Stay on the bus until you reach the North Avenue and Rock Point Road stop. Once you disembark, walk down Rock Point Road for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the entrance to the Rock Point Trail Loop on your left.
