Getting There

Walking
From the center of Burlington, head north on Main Street towards North Avenue. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Turn left onto North Avenue and walk for approximately 1 mile. You’ll pass several shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection with East Avenue, turn right. Continue straight for another half a mile until you reach the intersection with Route 2. At this point, you can catch a local bus that heads towards Cambridge. Check the bus schedule on your mobile device or at the bus stop for exact times.

Public Transportation
From downtown Burlington, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Main St and College St. Board the Green Mountain Transit bus that is heading towards Cambridge. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cambridge, the bus will drop you off at the center of town. From there, you can use a map app on your phone to locate Smugglers Notch, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Burlington. Start at the Burlington Bike Path located along Lake Champlain. Head north along the path for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Turn left onto North Avenue and continue straight. After 2 miles, you will merge onto Route 2. Follow Route 2 for about 6 miles until you reach Cambridge. Smugglers Notch is a short ride from the center of Cambridge. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking regulations.
