If you are in the center of Salthill, start by heading northeast on Salthill Rd towards the Atlantic Ocean. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the Promenade. Turn left onto the Promenade and follow it along the coast. Enjoy the sea views as you walk. After about 1.5 km, you will reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R336. Continue straight on this road for about 2.5 km until you reach the village of Cong. Once in Cong, look for signs directing you to Circular Rd. The Quiet Man Museum is located on Circular Rd, which will be on your right.

From Salthill, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Salthill Rd. Catch the Bus Éireann route towards Cong. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Cong village stop. From the bus stop, head east towards the village center, then take a right onto Circular Rd. The Quiet Man Museum will be located on your left, just a short walk down the road.
