Start at the Basilica di San Francesco, a major landmark in Assisi. Exit the basilica and head south on Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune. At the piazza, take the left exit onto Corso Mazzini. Walk along Corso Mazzini for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Santa Chiara. Turn right onto Via Santa Chiara and continue walking. Follow this road as it curves slightly and leads you towards the town of Montefalco. You will be walking for approximately 5 kilometers. The route is scenic, featuring beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside. Once you arrive at Montefalco, ask for directions to Borgo Garibaldi, where you will find Chiesa del Santuario di S. Chiara da Montefalco at number 60.
