From Assisi, head to the local bus station located at Piazza Matteotti. Look for bus line 5 or 6 that goes to Montefalco. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times. Once you arrive at the Montefalco bus station, exit the bus and head southeast on Via della Libertà.

After exiting the bus at the Montefalco station, continue walking straight along Via della Libertà for about 200 meters until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via Ringhiera Umbra. Continue on this road for about 500 meters, and you will see the Museo di San Francesco on your right at Via Ringhiera Umbra, 6.
