Getting There

    From the center of Assisi, head towards the Basilica di San Francesco. Walk up Via San Francesco, passing several shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Portica. Turn left onto Via Portica and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via del Comune. Here, turn right onto Via del Comune, which will take you out of the city towards the mountain. Follow the signs for 'Monte Subasio.' After a short distance, you will reach the trailhead for Vetta Monte Subasio.

    Once at the trailhead, follow the marked hiking paths towards Vetta Monte Subasio. The trail is well maintained and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The hike is approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) uphill and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
