Follow Via Roma to Via Cappuccini, then turn onto Contrada Agna. After approximately 400 meters, you will see a sign for Via delle Cisterne. Turn right onto this street and continue walking until you reach the edge of the Sassi di Matera. From here, follow the dirt path leading through the countryside. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
