The Rectorate is located at number 55. Walking is the most convenient way to reach the university from most points within the city center.

    If arriving at Siena train station, which is located about 2km outside the city center, take bus lines 3, 8, 10, 17 or 77 to Piazza del Sale, close to the university. From Piazza del Sale, it is a short walk to Via Banchi di Sotto. A single bus ticket costs €1.50.
