    If you're driving from central Buzen, head southwest on Route 10 toward Kitakyushu. After approximately 15 km, take the exit for Route 201. Continue on Route 201 for about 5 km, then merge onto Route 3 toward Kokura. Follow Route 3 until you reach the Hiraodai area. Look for signs indicating 'Hiraodai' as you approach the scenic spots. Parking is available near the entrance to the Hiraodai Nature Preserve, which may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

    To reach Hiraodai using public transport, start by taking a bus from Buzen's main bus terminal. Board a bus heading to Kokura and disembark at Kokura Station. From Kokura Station, take the Nishitetsu train (Kokura Line) towards Wakamatsu and get off at Hiraodai Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hiraodai Station, you can either walk to Hiraodai, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local taxi for about 1000 yen to reach the entrance of the Hiraodai Nature Preserve.
