From Hakata Station, walk southeast towards Hakata Bus Terminal, exit towards Chuo-dori, turn right, and walk until Sumiyoshi Dori. The marker will be near Sumiyoshi Shrine.

    From Tenjin area, take the Kuko Line from Tenjin Station towards Hakata Station. Alight at Hakata Station. From Hakata Station, walk southeast towards Hakata Bus Terminal, exit towards Chuo-dori, turn right, and walk until Sumiyoshi Dori. The subway fare is approximately ¥210. Alternatively, take a bus from Tenjin Bus Terminal towards Hakata Station and follow the walking directions from Hakata Station. The cheapest standard bus fare within Fukuoka city is ¥100.
