From Chikuzen, head south on Route 3 towards Fukuoka. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Chuo Ward. The Ruins of Ura-gomon Gate will be a short walk from the parking area.

Start your journey at Chikuzen Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Line to Hakata Station. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once at Hakata Station, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway and take the Kuko Line towards Meinohama. Get off at Tenjin Station. From there, catch a bus (number 100 or 200) heading towards Chuo Ward. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Disembark at the nearest stop to Jonai, and the Ruins of Ura-gomon Gate will be a short walk from the bus stop.
