  • Walking

    From Hakata Station, Canal City Hakata is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Head east from the station towards the main street (Odoriko street), then turn left and walk straight. Follow the signs for Canal City. The complex will be on your right.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Nanakuma Subway Line from Hakata Station to Kushida Shrine Station (1 minute, 210 yen). Canal City Hakata is a short walk from Kushida Shrine Station. Alternatively, take the Kuko Line to Nakasu-Kawabata Station. It's roughly a 7-minute walk from the station to Canal City Hakata. A one-day subway pass costs 640 yen.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available from Hakata Station or Tenjin. A short taxi ride from Hakata Station to Canal City Hakata will cost approximately 1,500 JPY. From Tenjin, expect to pay a similar fare. The base fare for a taxi in Fukuoka is 580 JPY, with an additional 325 JPY per kilometer.

    Canal City Hakata has its own parking facilities. Parking is available for 200 yen per 30 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. On weekdays, parking from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm is 200 yen/ 30 min and from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am is 100 yen/ 30 min. A long-stay discount is available on weekdays for up to 10 hours at 700 yen.
