Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Hiroshima city center. Take Route 2 (also known as the Sanyo Expressway) heading east. Follow the signs for the expressway and merge onto it. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Hiroshima-Nishi Interchange. Continue on Route 54 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Nakajimacho in Naka Ward. The A-bombed Phoenix Trees are located at 1-2 Nakajimacho, which will be on your right. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan to arrive early.

Public Transportation
To reach the A-bombed Phoenix Trees via public transportation, start at Hiroshima Station. Take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram line 1 (the yellow line) towards Eba. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Kencho-mae stop. From there, transfer to tram line 2 (the green line) towards Shukkeien-mae. After a 5-minute ride, disembark at Nakajimacho stop. The A-bombed Phoenix Trees are just a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop. Head south on Nakajimacho Street, and you will find the trees located at 1-2 Nakajimacho. The cost for the tram ride is approximately 200 yen one way.
