If you are traveling by car, start from central Hiroshima. Take Route 54, and continue on until you reach the junction with Route 2. Merge onto Route 2 and follow the signs for Naka Ward. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Naka Ward, use a GPS or map application and input the address: 1 Nakajimacho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0811. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan to arrive early.

For public transportation, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (tram) Line 1 or 2 from central Hiroshima. Board the tram towards Eba (Line 1) or Hiroden-nishi-hiroshima (Line 2). Get off at the 'Hondori' stop. From there, transfer to Line 6 and get off at 'Tachibana-cho' station. The entire journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After exiting the tram, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the burial mound. Follow Nakajima-cho street and look for signage directing you to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Burial Mound.
