Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Hiroshima city center. Take Route 54 (Hiroshima-Kure Road) heading east. Continue on Route 54 for about 11 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 31. Merge onto Route 31 and follow the signs for Ushitaminami. Drive for approximately 3 kilometers, and you will see signs for Futabasan. The mountain is located at 2 Chome Ushitaminami, Higashi Ward, Hiroshima. Parking is available near the trailhead, but be aware that it can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

Public Transportation
To reach Futabasan via public transportation, start at Hiroshima Station. Take the JR Sanyo Line to Kaitaichi Station (approximately 30 minutes, around 500 yen). From Kaitaichi Station, transfer to a local bus (Hiroshima Bus) heading towards Ushitaminami. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around 300 yen. Get off at the Ushitaminami stop, and from there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the Futabasan trailhead located at 2 Chome Ushitaminami, Higashi Ward, Hiroshima.
