Getting There

    If you're driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 (also known as Joban Expressway) south towards Tokyo. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Tokyo, follow signs for Asakusa and park at a nearby parking facility. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the Five-Storied Pagoda, located next to Senso-ji Temple.

    For those using public transportation, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station. The train ride will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Asakusa Station. This part of the journey will take around 5 minutes. Upon arrival at Asakusa Station, follow the signs to Senso-ji Temple, and the Five-Storied Pagoda is located right beside the temple.
