Take the exit for Asakusa and follow the signs towards Taito City. Once you arrive in Taito City, look for parking options near Senso-ji Temple, which is adjacent to the Site of Former Five-Story Pagoda. Please note that parking in this area may incur fees, typically around ¥500-¥1,000 for a few hours.

Public Transportation - Train
From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. This train ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and take the train towards Asakusa. After 2 stops, you will arrive at Asakusa Station. Exit the station and follow the signs towards Senso-ji Temple. The Site of Former Five-Story Pagoda is located within the temple grounds, just a short walk from the station. Note that the total cost for the train journey is approximately ¥1,500.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from Hitachi. Head to Hitachi Bus Terminal and take the express bus to Tokyo Station. The bus ride will take around 2 hours. From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line to Ueno Station, then transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa Station. The cost for the bus to Tokyo is around ¥2,000, and the subsequent train fare would be approximately ¥200. Once you reach Asakusa Station, follow the signs to Senso-ji Temple to find the Site of Former Five-Story Pagoda.
