If you are driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 30 km until you reach the junction for the Joban Expressway. Merge onto the expressway heading towards Tokyo. After approximately 70 km, take the exit for Shinjuku and merge onto Route 1 toward Minato City. Follow signs for Kaigan. Iwaiya is located at 3 Chome−18−21, 1F Bright East Shibaura, Minato City, Tokyo. Note: There may be tolls on the expressway, so keep some cash on hand or ensure your electronic toll collection (ETC) card is ready.
