For public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station. Board a train heading towards Ueno Station. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit the station and head towards the Ueno Park area. The Shitamachi Museum is located within walking distance of the station, approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
