If you're driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 south towards Mito. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) toward Tokyo. Continue for about an hour until you reach the Ueno exit. Follow the signs for Ueno Park, which will lead you to Kiyomizu Kannon-dō Temple located within the park. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, typically around 500-1000 yen depending on duration.

From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line heading south to Ueno Station. This trip will take approximately 1 hour and cost about 1200 yen. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit the station and follow the signs to Ueno Park. Kiyomizu Kannon-dō Temple is located in the park, about a 10-minute walk from the station.
