Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Noboribetsu from Sapporo. Take the Hokkaido Expressway (道央自動車道) and follow the signs for Noboribetsu. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Noboribetsu, look for Route 2, then turn onto Route 36. Follow the signs for 'Noboribetsu Date Jidai Village' (登別伊達時代村) which will lead you to the entrance at 53-1 Nakanoboribetsucho. There is parking available onsite, but expect a fee of around 500 yen for parking.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, begin your journey by taking a train from Sapporo Station to Noboribetsu Station. The train ride takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 2,500 yen. From Noboribetsu Station, you will need to take a bus. Look for the 'Noboribetsu Date Jidai Village' bus, which is operated by the Noboribetsu City Bus Company. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes and costs about 500 yen. The bus is conveniently timed with train arrivals, but make sure to check the schedule in advance.
