    If you're driving from central Izu, head northwest on Route 1 (also known as the Izu Skyline) towards Mishima. Follow the signs for Route 55, which will take you towards Yamanakako. Continue on Route 55, and when you reach the junction, take a left onto Route 138. Follow Route 138 until you reach Hirano, Yamanakako. Lake Yamanaka will be on your right. There are no tolls on this route, and parking is available at designated areas around the lake.

    From Izu, take the local train (Izuhakone Railway) to the nearest station, which is Yamanakako Station. This journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Yamanakako Station, you can take a bus to Lake Yamanaka. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Tickets for the train cost around 500 yen, and the bus fare is about 200 yen. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to avoid long waiting times.
