Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car from Kai, first get on the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) and head towards Yokohama. Continue on the expressway for about 2 hours until you reach the Yokohama area. Then take the Yokohama Yokosuka Road (横浜横須賀道路) south toward Yokosuka. Follow the signs for Sarushima Island as you approach the city. Once you arrive in Yokosuka, park your car at either the main harbor or designated parking areas near the Sarushima ferry terminal, which may incur a small parking fee.
