Car
From Hakone, take Route 1 (National Route 1) towards Odawara. Follow the signs for Yokohama and continue on Route 1. After approximately 30 km, take the Kanazawa Ward exit. Follow Kanazawa Highway (Kanazawa Kosokudoro) and take the exit towards Kanazawa-bunko Museum. The museum is located at 142 Kanazawacho, Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa 236-0015. Parking is available at the museum, but may incur a small fee (around 500 yen).

Public Transportation
From Hakone, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Odawara Station. From Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and travel to Yokohama Station. At Yokohama Station, transfer to the Yokohama Municipal Subway and take the Green Line towards Kanazawa Hakkei Station. From Kanazawa Hakkei Station, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Kanazawa-bunko Museum located at 142 Kanazawacho, Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa 236-0015. It may cost approximately 1,500 yen for the entire journey (including local train fares).
