Car
If you're driving from the center of Kai, take Route 20 (Chuo Highway) heading east. Follow the signs for Tokyo and exit at Kofu. Continue on Route 20 until you reach the interchange for Route 139. Merge onto Route 139 and follow it until it becomes Route 300. Stay on Route 300, which will lead you into Tokyo. Once you're in Tokyo, follow signs towards Taito City. Look for the signs directing you to Senzōji, located at 2 Chome-8-15 Kotobuki, Taito City. There is limited parking available near the temple, so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation
To reach Senzōji using public transportation, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line heading east towards Tokyo. You will need to transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Sobu Line (Rapid Service) towards Chiba. Get off at Asakusa Station. From Asakusa Station, it is a 10-minute walk to Senzōji. Exit the station and head northwest on Kaminarimon Street, then turn left onto Asakusa Street, which will lead you directly to the temple. Make sure to check the train schedules as they can vary, and your round trip ticket will cost approximately ¥2,000.
