Getting There

Car
From the center of Hitachi, head south on Route 6 (National Route 6) towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 50 km until you reach the junction with Route 51. Merge onto Route 51 and follow the signs for Tokyo. After approximately 90 km, take the exit toward Ueno and continue onto Route 4. Follow Route 4 until you reach Taito City. Once in Taito City, navigate to 2 Chome-1-11 Matsugaya. There is limited parking available nearby, and you may need to pay for parking, which can cost between 500 to 1000 yen per hour.

Start at Hitachi Station and take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno. The journey takes about 90 minutes. Get off at Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and take the train towards Asakusa. Get off at Asakusa Station. From Asakusa Station, take Exit 1 and walk for approximately 10 minutes to reach 2 Chome-1-11 Matsugaya, Taito City. Please note that train fares may vary, but expect to pay around 1,500 yen for the total trip.
