If you are driving from any location in Kai, set your GPS to '1 Chome-4-15 Nishiasakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0035'. From Kai, take the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道). Follow the signs for Tokyo until you reach the Shinjuku exit. From there, merge onto the Metropolitan Expressway. Follow signs for Ueno and exit at Ueno. From Ueno, follow the signs toward Taito City. Once you reach Nishiasakusa, you should see Zenshoji. Parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.

To reach Zenshoji by public transportation, start by heading to the nearest train station in Kai. Board the JR Chuo Line bound for Tokyo and ride to Shinjuku Station. At Shinjuku, transfer to the Toei Oedo Line and travel to Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and get off at 'Nihonbashi Station'.
