Public Transportation
From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. You will need to transfer at either Toride Station or Matsudo Station to catch the Tsukuba Express towards Akihabara. Alight at Akihabara Station. From Akihabara, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Ueno and get off at Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa and alight at Tawaramachi Station. Kappabashi Kitchen Tools Street is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs to Asakusa and head towards Matsugaya 3 Chome.

If you are driving from Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway towards Tokyo. The total distance is approximately 135 kilometers and will take around 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Tokyo, take the Exit for Asakusa and follow the signs for Route 6 (Kasuga Dori). Continue straight until you reach Matsugaya 3 Chome.
