Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating towards the Kyoto city center. Use the Kamo River as a reference point and head east. Once you reach Shijo Avenue (Shijo-dori), turn onto Gojo Avenue (Gojo-dori) heading east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Miyagawasuji Street. The Gojō Bridge will be on your right, right next to the river. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to check for parking signs and fees.

To reach Gojō Bridge via public transportation, first, take the Kyoto City Bus or the subway to 'Shijo-Kawaramachi' station. From there, transfer to Bus number 17 or 205, which will take you towards 'Gojōzaka' bus stop. Once you get off at Gojōzaka, walk east along Gojo Avenue (Gojo-dori) for about 10 minutes until you reach the Gojō Bridge. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the bridge, and enjoy the scenic walk along the way.
