The gate is located at 530 Chayacho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0931. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee. Be prepared for narrow streets in this area.

To reach Toyokuni Jinja Karamon Gate using public transportation, start by taking the Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station. Board the bus number 100 or 206, which will take you to the Kiyomizu-dera stop. From there, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to the gate. Head down the hill towards Chayacho street. Once you reach Chayacho, turn left, and you will find the gate at 530 Chayacho. The bus fare is approximately 230 yen one way.
