Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start by heading southeast on Route 1 from Kyoto. Continue for approximately 40 km until you reach the exit for Higashiosaka. Once you exit, merge onto Route 308, following the signs towards Higashiosaka. As you enter Higashiosaka, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja, located at 1 Chome-1-1 Higashiishikiricho. There is parking available near the shrine.

  • Train

    Take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line from Kyoto Station, and travel towards Nara. Disembark at Higashi-Hanazono Station. From there, transfer to the Kintetsu Nara Line and take a train towards Ikoma. Get off at Ishikiri Station. Once you arrive at Ishikiri Station, exit the station and head west on Route 308 for about 1.5 km. Follow the signs to Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja, which will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, board the express bus bound for Osaka or Nara. Get off at the Higashi-Osaka stop. From there, transfer to the local bus towards Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the shrine bus stop, you will be right in front of Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja.
