If you are driving, head towards Nishishinyashiki Tayucho in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto. From central Kyoto, take Route 1 south and then turn left onto Route 162. Continue until you reach Nishishinyashiki Tayucho. Look for the address 81-6 Nishishinyashiki Tayucho, which is where Makoto-no-yu is located. Parking is available nearby, though you may need to pay for parking.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
Start by taking the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Tofukuji Station, which takes about 5 minutes. Transfer to the Kyoto City Bus #206 at Tofukuji Station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes, then get off at the Nishishinyashiki stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to 81-6 Nishishinyashiki Tayucho, where you will find Makoto-no-yu. Note that bus fares are typically around 230 yen.
