    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Kyoto Line to Tofukuji Station. The journey takes about 3 minutes. From Tofukuji Station, exit and walk south for about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus from the station: board the 202 or 207 bus and get off at the Toji Temple stop. The fare is around 230 yen.
