If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kyoto and head west on Sanjo-dori Street. Follow the signs to Arashiyama, which will eventually lead you onto the JR-1 road. Continue along this road for about 9 km (approximately 20 minutes). Once you reach the area of Nishikyo Ward, look for signs directing you to Matsunoo-taisha Shrine. The shrine is located at 〒616-0024 Kyoto, Nishikyo Ward, Arashiyama Miyamachi, ３. There is parking available near the shrine, but it may cost around 500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Matsunoo-taisha Shrine via public transportation, take the JR Sagano Line from Kyoto Station to Saga-Arashiyama Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. From Saga-Arashiyama Station, transfer to the city bus (Bus No. 28) towards Matsunoo-taisha, which takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Matsunoo-taisha bus stop. The shrine will be a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs. The total cost for the train and bus ride will be around 600 yen.
