Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Kyoto and take the Ryozenji Road (Kyoto Prefectural Route 38) heading northwest. Follow the signs for Arashiyama and then turn onto the Route 162 towards Togetsukyo Bridge. Continue past the bridge and keep following the signs for Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple. The temple is located at 2-5 Sagatoriimoto Fukatanicho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto. There is a parking lot available near the temple, which may incur a small fee (approximately 500 yen).

Public Transportation
