Walking
From the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head towards the main road (Saganamiki Street). Turn left and walk along the road for about 10 minutes, passing through the main shopping area of Arashiyama. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Jōjakkō-ji Temple.

If you're starting from the Togetsukyo Bridge, exit the bridge and walk straight towards the main road (Saganamiki Street). Turn right and walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection of Saganamiki Street and Saga Oguracho. Turn left onto Saga Oguracho and continue walking until you see the entrance to Jōjakkō-ji Temple on your right.

If you prefer to take a bus, you can board the Kyoto City Bus #28 from the Arashiyama area. Get off at the 'Jōjakkō-ji' stop. The temple will be a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes. Note that the bus fare is around 230 yen.
