Once you exit the station, you will see the entrance to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine right in front of you. Start your hike up the mountain from here. The hike to the summit of Mt. Inari takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

    If you are driving, head towards Fushimi Ward in Kyoto. From the city center, take Route 1 or Route 24. Follow the signs to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. There is a parking lot available near the shrine, but it can get crowded, especially on weekends. The address for GPS navigation is 15 Inariyamakanyuchi, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0804. After parking, walk towards the shrine entrance to begin your ascent.
