From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. Get off at Uji Station, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. Once you exit Uji Station, turn left and walk towards the river. Cross the bridge over the Uji River, and then continue straight. Taihoan is located at Togawa-2 Uji, approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus #28 towards Uji. The journey will take around 40 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Uji-shi Yuba-cho.' From there, walk towards the river, then turn left and continue walking along the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, and Taihoan will be about a 10-minute walk from the bridge.
