Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (subway) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (3 stops). Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line at Shijo-Omiya Station. Take a train towards Katsura and get off at the Kawaramachi Station (1 stop). From Kawaramachi Station, exit onto Shijo-dori street. Walk east along Shijo-dori until you reach the intersection with Yamaboko-dori. Turn left onto Yamaboko-dori and continue to the end of the street, where you will find the entrance to Tatsumi-jinja Shrine (Tatsumi Dai-myojin) at 59 Motoyoshicho, Higashiyama Ward.

If you are already in the central area of Kyoto, you can walk to Tatsumi-jinja Shrine. From the Gion District, head towards the Yasaka Shrine and continue walking north along the main road. Cross the river using the Shijo Bridge and turn right onto the Sanjo-dori street. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Yamaboko-dori.
