Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're near Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Shijo Station, take Exit 6 and head towards the intersection of Shijo and Karasuma. Turn right onto Shijo Street and walk straight until you reach the Kawaramachi intersection. Cross the street and continue straight on to Gion Avenue. After about 10 minutes of walking, you'll reach the Gion area. Saryo Tsujiri Tea House is located at 573-3 Gionmachi Minamigawa, just a short walk from the main street.

    If you are already in Gion, find the Gion Corner area. From there, walk towards the Yasaka Shrine. Once you reach Yasaka Shrine, exit the shrine grounds and head towards the narrow street named Gionmachi Minamigawa.
