Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Nara Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Route 369). Walk straight for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Kofuku-ji Gojunoto (Five Story Pagoda) located at 48 Noboriojicho.

Bus
At Kyoto Station, take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Nara. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. Get off at the Nara City Hall bus stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Kofuku-ji Gojunoto. Head east on Route 369, then turn left onto Noboriojicho and continue straight until you reach the pagoda.

Walking
If you are staying in central Nara, you can easily walk to Kofuku-ji Gojunoto. From the Nara Park area, head northeast on Nara Park Road. Continue on until you reach the intersection with Noboriojicho. Turn left and walk straight; the pagoda will be on your left after a few minutes.
