Start at Nagoya Station, which is a major hub in the city. Take the Higashiyama Line (the yellow line) towards Fujigaoka. Travel for 5 stops and get off at Sakae Station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the exit for the Oasis 21 shopping complex. After exiting the station, you will see the Oasis 21 building in front of you. Walk straight towards Oasis 21 and then head east along the main road (Aoi Street) for about 10 minutes. The Nagoya City Performing Arts Center will be on your left at 1 Chome-3-27 Aoi, Higashi Ward.

From Nagoya Station, head to the Nagoya Bus Terminal located on the northwest side of the station. Look for bus number 12, which goes to the 'Aoi 1-chome' stop. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.
