Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting from Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (yellow line) towards Fujigaoka. After 5 stops, get off at Sakae Station. From Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (green line) and head towards Kanayama. Get off at the next stop, which is Yaba-cho Station. Take exit 1 from Yaba-cho Station and head east towards the intersection. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach Shumokucho 2 Chome. Cultural Path Shumokukan will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal located outside the station. Look for the Meitetsu Bus service and take Bus No. 3 bound for Shumokucho. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at Shumokucho 2 Chome bus stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to reach Cultural Path Shumokukan, which will be nearby.

  • Walking

    If you are near Sakae, you can walk to Cultural Path Shumokukan. From Sakae, head northeast on Hisaya Odori Street toward the Hirokoji intersection. Continue walking for about 800 meters, then turn left onto Shumokucho Street. Walk for about 300 meters, and you will find Cultural Path Shumokukan at 2 Chome-18 Shumokucho on your right.
