Getting There

    If you are driving from Nara city, take Route 24 heading southwest. Continue on Route 24 for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach the junction with Route 165, follow the signs for Taishi. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Eifuku-ji Temple. The temple is located at 2146 Taishi, Minamikawachi District, Osaka 583-0995. There is free parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. Transfer to the Kintetsu Osaka Line and get off at Kawachinagano Station. From Kawachinagano Station, take the Nankai Bus (bound for Taishi) and get off at the Eifuku-ji Temple bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 500 yen. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Public Transportation (Alternative Route)

    Another option from Nara Station is to take the JR Yamatoji Line to Kamo Station. From Kamo Station, transfer to the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line and ride to Kawachinagano Station. Then, take the Nankai Bus (as mentioned above) to reach Eifuku-ji Temple. This route may take longer but is also scenic.
