Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you see the signs for Heijō Palace. There is parking available near the entrance.

    Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station and ride to Nishinokyo Station. Once you arrive at Nishinokyo Station, exit and walk towards the Heijō Palace Site which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs leading you to 3 Chome-5-1 Nijoojiminami, or use a map app for precise directions.

    If you are staying close to Nara Park, you can walk to Heijō Palace. From Nara Park, head northwest towards Sanjo Street. Continue along Sanjo Street until you reach the intersection with Route 24. Turn right and walk straight for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at the entrance of the Heijō Palace Site.
