There is parking available on-site, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from ¥300 to ¥500 for a few hours.

For those using public transportation, first find the nearest train station. If you are in Nara City, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station towards Yamato-Saidaiji Station. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Yamato-Saidaiji Station. From there, take the Nara Kotsu bus (number 70 or 71) towards Heijō Palace Site. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the Heijō Palace Site bus stop. The bus fare is around ¥210.
