Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, head towards the main road (Yamazaki Street) leading out of the park. Walk south until you reach the intersection at Takabatake-dori. Turn right (west) onto Takabatake-dori and continue walking for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and traditional buildings. Once you reach the end of Takabatake-dori, turn left onto Sakicho Street. Continue walking for another 5 minutes, and you will find Daiichiji Daigokuden on your right at 710-1 Sakicho.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu bus bound for Nara Park (Bus No. 2, 3 or 4). Get off at the 'Heijo Palace Site' stop (approximately a 10-minute ride).
